See, see, I thought I was making the complete opposite point, by referencing an episode in a way that you will recognize instantly, without letting a newbie know ANYTHING WHATSOEVER about the plot. Anybody reading that will have absolutely nothing spoiled for them, because they won't have the slightest clue what I'm talking about or its significance until the moment when they understand both simultaneously. I considered putting in a note to this effect on the last comment.
