Amazon can die.

"The idea is, you pick ten of your favorite novels, look them up on Amazon.com, and find the list of Statistically Improbable Phrases for those novels. Pick a few SIPs from each novel, list them here, and then have people guess what books they are."
My major problem with this is that Amazon doesn't do SIPs for comic books, which means that many of my very favorite books aren't valid. Note also that not all of my books are novels. Additionally, a lot of my favorite books that are novels don't, for whatever reason, have SIP lists either, which is really frustrating. All that said, however, let's go!
1. tobacco water, westward voyage, forty generations
2. fire hurler, retiring room, combat ground
3. maple mead, undress greens, imperial residence
4. pale suit, coin tricks, fat kid
5. crocodile attack, desert park, giant worms
6. seventh seventh daughter, genetic molecule, birthing place
7. rubbish box, weighing room, diazo paper
8. mango voles, raccoon costume, whale tank
EDIT: God damn it, I'm offically fed up with Amazon. This is a cool meme, but literally half the books I want to use, Amazon doesn't have any good SIPs for. So you get 8 questions. Have fun.
