Livin' it up till I hit the ground
Oct. 17th, 2003 06:39 pmSo this is interesting. I submitted three pieces to the Demon ("Harvard's Oldest Humor Magazine With the Name 'Demon'"), and had two of them accepted. One of these two is a piece making fun of a cappella in general and Harvard's groups in particular. Now, I wrote this out of love--me making fun of a cappella is like Chris Rock making fun of blacks--but will people realize this? Is this going to hurt my chances in the spring when I once again petition the groups to accept me into their ranks?
Was it worth it anyway?
And can I maybe milk some more humor out of this situation in the editing phase?
