Yahoo must die.
Mar. 21st, 2002 02:51 pmSo I come home today and find this message in my email:
Effective April 24, 2002, Yahoo! Mail will no longer provide free POP3 Access or Auto Mail Forwarding to Yahoo! Delivers subscribers.
If you would like to continue using Mail Forwarding or POP3 Access, please subscribe to our improved package for $19.99
In other words, unless you pay 20 bucks, you'll only be able to check your mail ONLINE, at Yahoo's site. You can no longer download it to Outlook or any other email program.
So my reaction is, what the f*ck?! How dare Yahoo do this? I am so pissed at them that not only am i not going to use their stupid pay-per-delivery email service, but I absolutely refuse to even use their search engine anymore. People of the world, or at least the three of you who read this, join with me! Boycott Yahoo! Show them what happens if they try to make us pay 20 bucks for a service that 5 billion other places offer for free!
I will post my new, NON-YAHOO email address when I get it.
